Many companies participate in the competition every year.

Among the many products, ORCA-Quest has been selected as a finalist in the quantum category.

ORCA-Quest is the world's first qCMOS camera to achieve photon number resolving with low noise performance, enabling imaging of phenomena such as duality, superposition, and quantum entanglement of quanta (atoms, electrons, photons, etc.). It is expected to lead the technological innovations in quantum computing and quantum simulation.

The Prism Awards ceremony is held in conjunction with the annual SPIE Photonics West in San Francisco, California. This year's ceremony is scheduled to be held on January 26, 2022.
