Back-thinned CCD image sensors with electronic shutter function
 
The S13256-2048-02 is a back-thinned CCD linear image sensor with an internal electronic shutter for spectrometers. The image sensor uses a resistive gate structure that allows a high-speed transfer. Each pixel has a lengthwise size needed by spectrometers but ensures readout with low image lag. In addition, a TE-cooler is built into the package to keep the element temperature constant (about 5°C) during operation.
