Single molecule fluorescence imaging technique visualizes individual biomolecules in living organisms and provides information of biomolecule dynamics.
The system requires super high sensitivity cameras and TIRF (Total Internal Reflection Fluorescence) microscope as an optical method to excite thin layer of samples. The cameras also need to have high speed to capture dynamics of fluorescence from single molecule.
