The new foothold, which will reinforce development of MOEMS oriented products at Solid State Div., is to be started to build in the area next to the main factory.

Hamamatsu Photonics K.K. is aiming at expanding businesses of MOEMS (MicroOptoElectroMechanical Systems) oriented module products of Solid State Div. that is supplying opto-semiconductors. The two new buildings will soon be under construction in the developed land next to the main factory, and will be called the 11th and 12th building respectively.
