The newly developed G10768-1024D is a 1,024 channel near-infrared linear image sensor for high-speed applications such as SD-OCT and grain sorting.
Hamamatsu, Japan - January 17, 2008 - Hamamatsu Photonics has developed a near-infrared InGaAs linear image sensor (part number: G10768-1024D) that features 1,024 channels and high speed (max. line rate of 41,000 lines per second). It is intended for use as a linear light-sensing element in instruments for spectral-domain optical coherence tomography (SD-OCT), grain sorting systems, and other applications that require both high resolution and high-speed performance.
The G10768-1024D will be exhibited at the
Photonics West trade show in San Jose, California from January 19 to 24, 2008. In April, sample release of the G10768-1024D will begin in Japan and international markets. A signal-processing camera head for connecting the device to a computer will also be ready in April.
