Hamamatsu develops a new wide dynamic range PMT module for continuous measurement of a wide range of light levels
Hamamatsu, Japan – May 11, 2015 – Hamamatsu Photonics K.K. has developed a new PMT (photomultiplier tube) module that offers wide dynamic range for applications such as chemiluminescence measurement and semiconductor inspection. The H13126 PMT module can simultaneously obtain outputs from two separate systems, one for weak light from Single Photon Counting and the other for strong light like analog measurement PMT can work, in a single measurement. This enables the device to continuously measure wide-ranging light conditions with no time lag between the two types of measurement (weak, strong). The H13126 will be combined as a set with the newly developed C12918 interface unit. Samples of this set will be available to instrument manufacturers from June 1. Sales of the new product will begin in October 2015.
From May 13 to 15, this new product will be on display at PMEX Japan 2015, an international exhibition and conference on personalized medicine and diagnostics to be held at the Tokyo Big Sight convention center.
