CMOS linear image sensor

S17122

80 MHz operation, digital output, binning function

The S17122 is a CMOS linear image sensor that has achieved a readout speed of 80 MHz max. and a line rate of 61 kHz max. It has a timing generator, bias generator, 12-bit A/D converter, and is easy to handle because of its digital I/O. By performing binning operation, it can be used as a sensor with a pixel size of 14 μm × 200 μm and a number of effective pixels of 1024. This increases the signal level and enables shorter data transfer time.
