環境負荷低減と資源有効利用の観点から、3R(発生抑制:Reduce、再使用:Reuse、再資源化:Recycle)の推進と廃棄物の適正処理に取り組んでいます。
ゼロエミッションとは、生産活動で省資源・廃棄物削減を行いつつ、やむを得ず発生する廃棄物は資源循環させることで、廃棄物ゼロの社会を目指す考えです。当社は、第3次静岡県循環型社会形成計画で定められた最終処分率の目標値1.8 %を踏まえ、「廃酸と廃アルカリを集計対象に含む最終処分率※1 1.8 %未満」をゼロエミッションと定義しています。

※2 リサイクル量:マテリアルリサイクル量とサーマルリサイクル量に有価物を含めた合計値
廃棄物委託先への実地確認等を通じて、廃棄物処理の適正処理状況を確認しています。こうした活動から2016年に、産業廃棄物の適正処理功労者として静岡県知事褒賞を受賞しています。
また2017年には、静岡県産業廃棄物協会主催の適正処理研修会を当社の豊岡製作所で開催しました。県内企業の参加者に当社の廃棄物置場や廃水処理装置を見ていただき、廃棄物管理に関する意見交換を行い、貴重なご意見を多く頂きました。

3Rの取り組みをより一層推進するために、静岡県が主催する産廃3Rキャンペーンに参加しています。この取り組みは、行政の目標(最終処分率1.8 %の達成)を達成するためのもので、県内企業である当社も積極的に応援していきたいと考えています。
社内イントラネットには、従業員向けの廃棄物分別データベースを整備しており、分別徹底による3R活動の環境を整えています。また、企業としての3Rの活動だけでなく、当社の個々の従業員に対しても、3Rの重要性を発信しています。当期は、「3Rのすゝめ」という情報発信サイトを社内イントラネットに開設しました。
