For our European IT team, we are looking for an IT Network & Security Specialist (f/m/d) at our German subsidiary in Herrsching (near Munich).
The IT Network & Security Specialist (f/m/d) will be responsible for the implementation, maintenance and integration of the corporate WAN, LAN and WiFi. He/she will also be responsible for implementation and administration of network, security hardware and software, enforcing the network security policy and complying with requirements of external security audits and recommendations (security and cloud azure).
Your Key Tasks:
- Knowledge and experience with security tools and SIEM solutions or any similar
- Working knowledge with cloud networking and cloud security, preferably MS Azure
- In-depth knowledge in networking, preferable with Cisco Meraki switches, routers, firewalls
- Good working knowledge of firewall administration (Checkpoint)
- Good experience in IDS/IPS, VPN and other network security solutions
- Good experience in Datacenter networking and maintenance
- Knowledge and experience in project work and collaboration with external IT partners
- Nice to haves: VMware ESX/vSphere skills, Windows Server Administration
Your Background
- Academic degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or related field with 3+ years of relevant working experience
- Network and security certification (e.g. CCNA, Comptia Security Plus, others)
- M365 Security & Governance
- Good attention to details, self-motivated, proactive
- You can work independently but also as part of an international team with “Team spirit” and have a friendly and professional attitude and communicate positively with others
- Good written and spoken English
