Sales Engineer Digital Pathology

We are looking for a Systems Sales Engineer to join our team in Belgium as soon as possible with a focus on slide scanners for digital pathology.

Location: Mont-Saint-Guibert (Belgium)

Your tasks:

  • Sales of hardware and software solutions in the field of digital pathology.
  • Building and expanding customer relationships with medical specialists, laboratory staff and senior management in various departments in a clinical and scientific environment.
  • Customer demonstrations of the product range (whether with internal application specialists and external software partners).
  • Project-related communication with "key opinion leaders" (e.g., in the context of pilot and reference projects).
  • Guiding and developing sales and product partnerships.
  • Close cooperation with our application specialists, technical support staff and IT specialists.
  • Development and execution of product launches to develop new potential business.
  • Coordination of and participation in conferences and fairs, as well as planning and execution of other marketing activities in collaboration with our marketing team.
  • Close cooperation with our European sales teams and the head office in Japan.
  • In addition to the sale of digital slides scanners, your duties will also include sales of laboratory screening systems and scientific cameras.

You bring:

  • A solid technical-scientific, or biomedical education (bachelor/university degree), or years of  professional experience in the field of medical technology or laboratory environment (ideally in an hospital environment).
  • Basic knowledge in an area such as applied medical technology, laboratory technology, imaging processes in medicine or software-assisted evaluation of image analysis.
  • Desire and willingness to continuously broaden and deepen your own knowledge.
  • Excellent communication and reporting skills.
  • Enjoy realizing projects in a team-oriented, intercultural, and creative environment.
  • Fluent in spoken and written Dutch, French and English is an advantage (minimum requirement: French/English or Dutch/English).
  • High customer and service orientation.
