New lineup of Si APD arrays for a wide range of applications in analysis and measurement

1×16 ch APD array with high sensitivity in the short wavelength range S15249

The S15249 is an array of Si APDs (S12053 series) with high sensitivity in the ultraviolet to visible region and widely used in analysis and measurement equipment.

By greatly narrowing the gap between elements to 60 μm, it contributes to the realization of measurement with less loss of signal light due to the gap.

The package is compact, inexpensive, and suitable for mass production, and uses surface mounting technology, which is proven in the Si photodiode array (S15158).

Main features

1) High sensitivity in the short wavelength range: QE=77% (λ=450 nm)

2) Low bias operation: Breakdown voltage=160 V typ.

3) Gain variation between elements is small
