Laser Heating System

L16490-343

Laser heating system that consists of an optimum light source (SPOLD® LD irradiation light source), fiber and lens for plastic welding. It is possible to obtain welding strength up to the extent of base metal fracture, and uses a proven light source for automotive applications. The adhesive-free bonding technology is also highly recyclable and environmentally friendly.

Improvement of process efficiency

  • Reduction of parts due to no O-rings and no adhesives
  • Simplification of process due to bonding and waterproofing by laser irradiation only.
  • High speed bonding
  • Stabilization of processes due to no wear and consumables
  • Easy full automation

Higher value-added products

  • High strength bonding enabling the same bonding strength as the base metal
  • Reduction of internal impacts due to vibration-free and local heating
  • Improvement of appearance by melting only the interface

Applications

Automotive plastic parts

Various containers (liquid sealing, easy peeling)

OA equipments
