The vast majority of Hamamatsu’s manufacturing facilities are operating normally. In Japan, we do not expect any disruptions in our manufacturing or ability to serve customers. We are working with suppliers and our manufacturing sites to maintain sufficient inventory of the products manufactured at these sites, and no material or product impact is projected

To support and engage customers while our employees are working remotely, we are offering these online services and educational opportunities:

  • Live chat is available on our website. If you have a question about pricing, lead time or order status, or if you need technical support, please contact us through live chat.
  • Free webinars on various topics are offered on our website to help customers learn about photonic technologies while staying home.

To comply with social distancing guidelines, we are taking the following measures:

  • Restrictions on visitor access to our offices and facilities are still in place.  We have a mask mandate for anyone entering our buildings.
We are following governmental guidelines, practicing social distancing, and promoting a remote workforce.
  • Restrictions on HC employee non-essential air travel, both domestic and overseas, remain enforced.
    • For customers who do not have lab access during the pandemic, please contact our Sales or Application Engineers. We may have services to help keep your project moving.
