“The companies named to this year’s Best Places to Work list demonstrate a commitment to building and maintaining a strong workplace culture,’’ said Bernadette Toner, GenomeWeb Executive Editor. “We’re pleased to recognize them as top workplaces driving innovation in life science research, diagnostics, and precision medicine.”
"We are honored to be recognized as one of GenomeWeb’s Best Places to Work for 2025,” said Earl Hergert, President at Hamamatsu Corporation. “Our employees are at the heart of everything we do, and this award reflects our ongoing commitment to creating a workplace where people feel supported, inspired, and empowered to make an impact."
GenomeWeb partnered with Workforce Research Group, a research firm specializing in identifying great places to work, to conduct a two-part survey process of employers and their employees.
The first part consisted of evaluating each nominated company's workplace policies, practices, philosophy, systems, and demographics. This part of the process accounted for approximately 20 percent of the total evaluation. The second part consisted of an employee survey to measure the employee experience. This part accounted for approximately 80 percent of the total evaluation. The combined scores determined the top companies.
