IEEPA tariff refunds – Customer information

2026/04/17
  • Hamamatsu Corporation

We recognize the importance of the International Emergency Economic Powers Act (IEEPA) tariff refunds to our customers.  Hamamatsu will review and proceed with potential refunds to customers after the applicable IEEPA tariff amounts have been received from the U.S. government to Hamamatsu Corporation.

U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) is planning to administer refunds through the Consolidated Administration and Processing of Entries (CAPE) system, which is being implemented in phases. Processing timelines are determined solely by CBP and are expected to take time and vary based on eligibility and government workload. As a result, refunds are expected to be issued incrementally over an extended period.

Please note that Hamamatsu is unable to influence or expedite the government’s refund process. We remain committed to transparency and will continue to provide updates as information becomes available.

We appreciate your patience as this process continues.
