Presenter:  Kazuhiko Fujiwara

Kazuhiko Fujiwara is a researcher and application scientist/engineer specializing in process analytical technology (PAT) at Hamamatsu Photonics K.K. He earned his Ph.D. from Osaka University, focusing on Raman and nonlinear spectroscopy of liquid interfaces. Since joining Hamamatsu Photonics K.K., he has worked on industrial applications of Raman, surface-enhanced Raman, and near-infrared spectroscopy. His research also includes machine learning and chemometric spectral analysis.

We are demonstrating near-infrared spectroscopy analytical module for rapid chemical inspection in a pharmaceutical production procedure. In this demo, we will show rapid active pharmaceutical ingredient (API) quantification of tablet samples.
