Featured products:

For X-ray:

Fairchild, a Hamamatsu company offers state of the art CMOS X-ray sensors with USB output. These sensors offer excellent image quality with advanced features including a built-in power filter that greatly improves image quality especially at low dose, built-in memory with calibration file and FIFO buffer for reliable image transfer even when the PC is in a low power state.

Fairchild Imaging F40

F40 device - X-ray sensor intended for high resolution medical and veterinary imaging. With 19.5 um pixels this sensor offers extremely high resolution in a compact (76 x 54 mm) format. It can operate at upto 10 fps for tomographic use. The sensor has user friendly USB 3.0 type C output with plug & play cable.

A 140 x 128 mm low noise CMOS flat panel sensor with 4 operating modes, fast, fine, panoramic and rectangular binning and 16 bit digital output with GigE interface. The sensor has 100 x 100 um pixels and can operate at upto 19 fps in fine mode making it ideal for low dose fluoroscopic or Cone Beam CT imaging applications.

A large format low cost flat panel intended for precision radiographic imaging. It offers 3 frames/second imaging capability enabling frame averaging without introducing motion artifacts often seen in radiographic panels. It is 30 x 25 cm making it large enough for a wide range of dental, medical and veterinary diagnostic uses.

For PET and scintillation imaging:

SPAD module C14076-01, C16534-050GD Product photo

C16534-050GD is a fiber coupled single photon counting SPAD module designed to detect low-level.

It includes a thermoelectric cooled SPAD detector, amplifier, bias circuitry and temperature controller. The product is compact and lightweight making it suitable for integration into gamma probes and other portable/handheld diagnostic equipment. The module is easy to operate with just a +/-5 V supply required.

S13361-3050AE-08 product photo

S13361-3050A series – are 8 × 8 channel MPPC array sensors, with 50 μm ucell pixel pitch.

The S13360-3050A series MPPC arrays are designed with advanced through-silicon vias (TSV) to minimize non-sensitive portions around the photosensitive area which reduces stray capacitance offering extremely fast timing making them ideal for TOF PET designs. The 4-side buttable structure allows assembling multiple arrays side by side to make large area detector assemblies with almost no dead space between the arrays.

S14161-3050hs-04

S14160/S14161 series MPPCs - are low breakdown voltage type MPPCs and arrays designed for scintillation detection applications

The S14160 series offer the highest PDE (photon detection efficiency), lowest operation voltage and excellent coincidence resolving time (making them well suited for TOF PET or scintillation imaging applications. They achieve small dead space in a photosensitive area with HWB (hole wire bonding) technology (Patent pending). And the gap from the photosensitive area edge to the package edge is only 0.2 mm. This package realizes the four-side buttable arrangement.

PET module C13500-4075YC-12

C13500-4075YC-12 – is a complete 12 x 12 channel MPPC array module designed for TOF PET applications.

It includes the S14161 MPPC array sensor, a  lutetium scintillator and readout electronics along with an advanced signal processing ASIC. The lutetium scintillator features high light emission yield and fast decay time. Combined with the S14161 MPPC array, readout electronics and our proprietary ASIC enables construction of TOF-PET imaging systems with exceptional timing and pulse counting performance.

H13700 product photo

H13700 Series – are high sensitivity, ultra-fast time response, 52 x 52 mm flat panel type PMT assemblies with 16 x 16 anode readout.

With their innovating ultra-compact, super low profile metal channel dynode design they offer excellent time resolution of 0.38 nsec TTS. The H13700U series PMTs are well suited for various radiation imaging applications including gamma ray or neutron imaging, etc. Hamamatsu offers 2 versions: bialkali photocathode, with borosilicate glass or UV glass
