Physics and astronomy

Our photomultiplier tubes (PMTs) have played a critical role in detecting faint Cherenkov light in major neutrino observatories, contributing to discoveries recognized by the Nobel Prize in Physics in 2002, 2015, and 2026. This technology has enabled researchers to observe supernova neutrinos, establish that neutrinos have mass, and trace high-energy cosmic neutrinos to deep space.
