High-precision X-ray sources and detectors for the most
demanding inspection applications.
In today's factories and research labs, the demands for quality and safety across all types of food and industrial products are more stringent than ever. Non-contact, non-destructive X-ray inspection has become a critical tool for enhancing these standards. This technology allows for the detection of even the smallest structural flaws and foreign object contamination without causing any damage to the product itself.
New X-ray products from Hamamatsu are helping OEMs and system integrators advance the detectability and measurement of defects and contaminants at unprecedented speed, resolution, and power. Our microfocus X-ray source tubes, featuring integrated high voltage power supplies for both open and sealed types, offer resolutions down to less than 1 micron and up to 300kV. Additionally, our latest X-ray line scan cameras (linear detector arrays) deliver high speed (up to 200 m/min) and high resolution (down to 48 microns). Available in several types—line-scan, TDI (time delay integration), and dual energy—these cameras are packaged in robust enclosures and are ready for seamless integration into production lines.
Hamamatsu offers a comprehensive range of high-precision X-ray sources and detectors suitable for various industries, including battery inspection, automotive, aerospace, 3D metal printing, industrial CT, medical devices and food. To explore our full line of non-destructive inspection products, please refer to our brochure - X-ray Non-destructive Inspection Products.
