Dr Oliver Lischtschenko, CEO, Coher Sense Luigi Ghezzi, Technology and Market Expert, Hamamatsu Photonics |
Laser measurement challenges shouldn’t slow down the development of new laser-based technologies. As systems become smaller, more application-specific and deployed outside the lab, diagnostics need to be simpler, compact and easy to integrate. This webinar will explore how laser measurement can be simplified through component expertise, application understanding and compact sensor-platform design.
Dr Oliver Lischtschenko holds a PhD in Physics from the University of Greifswald, with a background in plasma and laser spectroscopy. After his academic career, he spent 13 years at Ocean Optics in Europe, working across roles including Sales Engineer and Applications Expert. He is the founder and CEO of Coher Sense, a Lübeck, Germany-based photonics startup, where he has worked full time since August 2024. Oliver is internationally recognized across science and industry as an innovation leader, including through his selection for the Photonics 100 list of innovators. Coher Sense won the Hamamatsu Photonics Innovation Award in the Advanced Feasibility category for its KISA sensor in 2026, and Oliver was named an AMA Innovation Award winner in 2026 for inventing the KISA technology on which Coher Sense products are built.
