The imaging plate reader module C15082 is an integratable optical module specialized for reading imaging plates in CR (computed radiography).
It is designed for incorporation into dental imaging plate scanners and similar devices. The excitation laser, MEMS mirror for laser scanning, and MPPC for fluorescence detection are housed in a compact enclosure. These components are optically tuned with high precision, resulting in a high signal-to-noise (S/N) ratio and excellent image resolution.

Configuration and features

C15082 consists of a laser scan engine, an MPPC assembly, and a driver circuit. The laser scan engine is a compact laser assembly for exciting the imaging plate. It integrates a 660 nm laser diode and a MEMS mirror for precise laser scanning.
The MPPC assembly uses a Hamamatsu MPPC array, a highly sensitive detector that enables high-resolution digital imaging.
