G1656* InGaAs area image sensors

Hamamatsu Photonics announces the launch of its new InGaAs area image sensors (G16561 to G16564-0909T), offering high dynamic range, ultra-low dark current, and a frame rate of up to 116 fps. The integrated 3-stage thermoelectric cooling system reduces noise for accurate low-light and infrared detection, while multi-line readout enables fast, flexible performance for agri-photonics, plastic sorting, and food safety spectroscopy.

Key Benefits

Well suited for engineers and R&D teams tackling complex industrial challenges, especially in agri-photonics, plastic sorting, and spectroscopy for food safety, these new InGaAs area image sensors offer clear advantages:

  • Consistent, high-quality images in changing or low light conditions enabled by high dynamic range of 3,500, a spectral response of 0.95 μm to 1.69 μm and a 640 × 512 pixel near-infrared sensor
  • Rapid, real-time data capture at up to 116 frames per second, supporting rapid industrial processes.
  • Exceptional sensitivity for detecting faint signals, thanks to ultra-low dark current.
  • Flexible integration with multi-line readout for customized data acquisition.
  • Reliable performance in demanding environments, achieved through advanced 3-stage cooling that reduces thermal noise.
