TOKUSTREAK is a powerful software solution purpose-built for controlling streak systems, including streak cameras and associated devices. Inspired by the Japanese word “TOKU" - meaning gain, benefit, or advantage - TOKUSTREAK reflects the core philosophy of performance, precision, and usability.


With its intuitive, customizable interface and high-speed data acquisition capabilities, TOKUSTREAK simplifies complex workflows and empowers users to focus on results. Built-in context-sensitive help ensures a smooth user experience, whether you're fine-tuning a single device or managing an entire experimental application such as fluorescence lifetime imaging or time-resolved photoluminescence (TRPL), TOKUSTREAK provides the control and insight needed to push the boundaries of ultrafast science.

Features

Device Control Manage a streak system, including a streak camera, readout camera, spectograph, and delay units.
Device Discovery Automatically detects devices on startup or manually via the application menu.
Manual Setup Supports devices that require manual input of COM ports or IP addresses.
ROI Definition Allows defining Regions of Interest for data analysis with basic and profile analysis options.
Customizable UI Users can arrange views and choose different themes.
High-Speed Data Acquisition Supports long-term data acquisition, average integration and single photon counting, allowing data storage in various formats.
Context-Sensitive Help Provides documentation for different areas via the "F1" help key.
Data Post-Processing Allows performing significant corrections such as background and shading corrections.

TOKUSTREAK delivers a powerful, all-in-one platform for controlling streak systems optimized for cutting-edge applications, such as time-resolved photoluminescence (TRPL), fluorescence lifetime imaging, material characterization, high-energy physics, quantum cryptographic communication, plasma emission analysis, transient absorption spectroscopy — along with many other advanced research and industrial use cases.

Download TOKUSTREAK

The unlicensed version of the software provides basic functionality, including image loading, display, and saving. To access advanced features such as hardware control and image acquisition, a valid license is required. Licenses can be ordered via the following email address: tokustreak.license@hamamatsu.eu
