The S16803 is a 4-segment Si PIN photodiode with high ultraviolet resistance.

The photosensitivity is less likely to degrade even under long-term exposure to ultraviolet light, making it possible to maintain high sensitivity in the ultraviolet region.

The element is divided into four segments in a two-dimensional structure, making it suitable for laser optical axis alignment and position detection.
