For our Swiss Sales Team, we are looking for an Sales Engineer for Opto-Electronic Components (m/f).

The role will be placed at our Swiss office (Solothurn).


Your responsibilities:

You are the supporter on the sales front, providing technical consulting, exploring customer processes, and managing the integration as well as configuration of components at the customer site. You independently manage your ongoing projects until completion. This role involves traveling.

You bring:

  • A completed technical degree, preferably in the fields of electrical/electronics, mechatronics, physics, or a comparable technical qualification
  • Ability to clearly explain complex technical concepts, and competent presentation and moderation skills
  • Perseverance in managing sales projects with long lead times
  • Fluent English for negotiations
  • Willingness to travel
  • You enjoy working in a team, actively contribute, and help create a constructive, collegial work environment
  • Negotiation skills and a confident presence at all levels within an intercultural environment
  • You have a pronounced sales flair and know how to present technical solutions convincingly and with a customer focus
  • A natural interest in technical and scientific contexts helps you quickly understand our opto electronic products and applications and represent them competently
