Circuit for NMOS linear image sensor

Can a switching regulator be used as the power supply?

To obtain full product performance, use a low-noise series regulator.

I want to use the sensor while connected by an extension cable to the driver circuit. Is that possible?

This is not recommended since the sensor may be affected by external noise or may malfunction. To obtain full performance from the product, the sensor should be inserted into the socket on the circuit board.

Some driver circuits have no connectors attached. Is it okay to solder the individual bare wires? Is one wire sufficient as the ground?

To obtain full product performance, use a coaxial cable. Improper ground wiring may distort input signals (Start, CLK) causing malfunction. Avoid rough wiring installations.
