当社は2020年1月、「経団連生物多様性宣言・行動指針」(2018年10月改訂版)へ賛同いたしました。
2020年6月に公表された「経団連生物多様性宣言イニシアチブ」内の賛同企業・団体一覧にも掲載されています。
緑と自然環境の大切さを育み、地域の緑化を推進するため、植樹活動を実施しています。地域清掃活動も数多く展開しており、多くの従業員が積極的に参加しています。
生物多様性保全への取り組みとして、生物多様性はままつ戦略に賛同し、事業所周辺や市・県での保全活動への参加や啓発を行っています。当社は、毎年開催される「浜名湖クリーン作戦」などに参加し、地域の生物多様性を守り、豊かな自然を将来につなげていきます。76期(2023年9月期)は事業所周辺の清掃活動を14回行い、浜松駅前における浜松市企業展示花壇や、豊田川の清掃活動、浜名湖クリーン作戦などに延べ5回参加しました。これらの活動に延べ512名の社員が参加しました。

生物多様性保全活動・緑化啓発活動の一環として、2011年10月より新築および結婚した社員を対象に「幸せ記念樹」を配布しています。2014年10月より家庭での育樹活動をより一層推進するため、社員の家族の小学校入学を新たに対象としました。社員と家族のエコ意識向上にも役立っています。写真は植樹記念として社員から提供していただいたものです。「幸せ記念樹」開始から76期(2023年9月期)までに1,211名の社員が利用しています。
また、環境の美化・維持管理のために、各事業所では構内に樹木を植樹するとともに夏場は緑のカーテンを実施しています。
当社では72期より使用済ハブラシの回収の取り組みを始めました。回収したハブラシは社外団体にて量に応じたポイントが付与され、取得ポイントでもって社会貢献事業への寄付に充てられます。既に従業員より、総量で68.9kgのハブラシの提供を受けました。
