今まで静電気における多くの問題を解決してきたスタンダードモデル。 「除電速度」「除電エリア」「設置の自由度」「導入コストの低さ」「X線遮へいの手軽さ」の要素でバランスの取れた設計となっているため、幅広い「対象物」「環境」「条件」で使用されています。
微弱X線の照射された全ての範囲で、イオンは常時生成されます。帯電体近傍で生成されたイオンが除電に直接寄与するため、送風によってイオンを送る必要はありません。軽量の部品や粉体の除電も可能です。
コロナ放電式の場合「電極近傍」がイオンの生成範囲であるのに対し、微弱X線照射方式では、その「照射範囲全て」がイオン生成範囲となるため、除電効率が上がります。除電時間も短くなります。
微弱X線照射方式では「プラス」・「マイナス」のイオンが「同時」に「同量」生成されるため、逆帯電が起こりません。生成されるイオンのバランスに偏りがあると、どちらかのイオンだけが大量に存在しつづけていくことになり、これが「逆帯電」の原因となります。コロナ放電式のような「プラス」・「マイナス」の調整もありません。
コロナ放電式は、塵埃の付着により電極が汚れ除電効果が下がるため、頻繁な電極清掃が必要です。フォトイオナイザは長期にわたりメンテナンスが一切不要で、高い除電効果を維持することができます。
オゾンの発生はコロナ放電時に発せられる特定のUV光が原因です。フォトイオナイザが発する光は「微弱X線(3 keV ~ 9.5 keV)」であるためオゾンを発生させません。オゾンの酸化作用による、周囲への悪影響もありません。
コロナ放電式の場合、電極部に空気中の「微粒子」が吸着し、「粒子状」になって再飛散するため塵の原因となります。「コロナ放電」は電磁ノイズを発生させます。「放電方式」である以上、上記問題を完全に解決することはできません。フォトイオナイザは微弱X線照射方式のためこれらの問題が生じません。

クリーンなイオン生成方式「Photoionization(光電離 )」を利用した光イオン化システム「Photoionizer」。
従来のコロナ放電方式とは違い、「塵や電磁ノイズ、オゾン」の発生しないクリーンな除電を実現。さらにイオン生成バランスが均等であるため、逆帯電を起こすことがありません。
帯電体近傍の分子をイオン化させて 除電するため除電効率が極めて高く、従来困難であった高速移動体や粉体等の除電も瞬時に行うことができます。
