LCOS-SLM (空間光位相変調器)
X15213-03CLは、アドレス部にCMOS技術を応用して直接液晶を電圧制御することにより、高精度と高速応答を実現した反射型電気アドレス空間光位相変調器です。通常、LCOS-SLM に高出力のレーザを入射すると液晶層の温度が上昇し、性能が低下します。このため、耐光性を高めるには、放熱性能を向上させることで液晶層の温度上昇を抑制する必要があります。本製品は、当社独自の熱設計技術を応用して放熱性能を高めることで、従来製品 (水冷タイプ: X15213-03BL) の3.5倍である 700 W 以上の耐光性を実現しています。金属粉をレーザで焼き固めて成型する金属 3Dプリンティングや、レーザによる金属溶接・切断などへの応用が可能です。

石英ガラスよりも熱伝導率が約30 倍高いサファイアガラスを採用し、筐体内部も熱伝導性が良い材料で封入したことで、発生した熱をサファイアガラスから熱伝導性材料を介して、水冷ヒートシンクへ素早く伝搬させることができます。
700W以上の高出力レーザの照射時においても理想特性に近い位相変調特性が得られます。
