低エネルギー電子線照射源「EB-ENGINE®」L16379 は、加速電圧50 kV の低エネルギー領域に対応し、450 mm の広幅照射が可能な低エネルギー電子線照射源です。電子線エネルギーをサンプルの最表面に効率的に付与することで、深部へのダメージを最小限に抑えつつ、高品質な表面加工・表面処理を実現します。

EB-ENGINE を使った表面加工・表面処理は、素材の特性を向上させる「架橋」、インキや塗料などを瞬時に硬化させる「キュアリング」、医療機器や容器の「滅菌」といった加工や処理を短時間で高品質に行うことができます。
電子線を照射していない樹脂は研磨による摩耗の痕がついていますが、照射した樹脂にはほとんど痕がついていません。
電子線の照射前はテープにインキが付着していますが、照射後はインキが硬化し基材に密着したことで、テープに付着しません。
電子線を照射していないシャーレの枯草菌は増殖していますが、照射したシャーレの枯草菌は増殖していません。

電子線を照射していない樹脂は変化がありませんが、照射した樹脂では光沢が見られ、グラフト重合が進んだことがわかります。
