UVtron®:炎・放電センサは、金属の光電効果とガス増倍効果を利用した紫外線ON-OFFセンサです。感度波長範囲は185 nm~260 nmと、紫外域のみに感度を有しているため、半導体光センサなどのように光学的可視光カットフィルタを使う必要がなく、簡単に使用できます。

水素炎からの微弱な紫外線を正確に検知します。約10 m離れた水素バーナーの炎も検知可能です。長距離対応を可能にするとともに、設置場所の自由度が高まります。
UVtron®は可視域および太陽光からの紫外線に対して感度がないソーラブラインド特性を有しており、光学的可視光カットフィルタなどを使用する必要がありません。屋内のみならず、屋外での使用にも適しています。
数ms以下での即時検出・即時信号出力が可能なため、点火の際の水素炎を検出します。また、熱などによって間接的に検知する他方式では難しかった水素炎の立ち消えを瞬時に見つけ出すことも可能なため、高い安全管理と迅速な事後対応に貢献します。
